Track bills, read transcripts, share press releases, and keep your team organized in one place
Helping you see and share the information that matters.
After spending countless hours managing, searching for, and organizing information in our previous jobs, we needed a better way. So we created Legislata to solve the headaches we were encountering every day. Now political offices, political risk analysts, journalists, and others can spend time on the work we want to do, not the hassles we have to get through.
We are built on five core ideas:
We work with information and getting through it quickly is key.
Our information does not stand alone - instead it connects us to legislation, an issue, or a political actor, amongst other things.
We may need information that originates outside our offices, or we may need to reach beyond our (virtual) walls with communications like a press release. Connecting the right information to the right audience is currently one of the biggest challenges.
Artificial intelligence and automation can help us access information that would otherwise be inaccessible because it’s buried in a PDF or 3 hours into a local government meeting.
But AI can only be a supplement for the knowledge and context of people who work in politics.
Why Legislata?
There are plenty of productivity tools and legislative databases out there already. So what makes Legislata different?
Quite simply, Legislata is built for those that work in politics. We know that you need access to what’s going on, why it matters, and tools to work with it - at a price you can afford.
Legislata also recognizes that not everyone requires the same solution. So rather than an expensive one-size-fits-all service that only has the information they’ve been able to find, we let you pick and choose the feeds you wish to subscribe to. These may be about basic legislative movements and provided by us, or new analysis and provided by a user who created their own feed. Either way, you’ll get your notifications all in one simple email.
Finally, Legislata knows that this world is a community, not just customers. Create your own feed to share the information that you have with those who need it. Whether you’re an engaged citizen who wants to make town meeting information more accessible, a policy analyst who finds that newsletters aren’t the right fit for sharing stakeholder profiles, or an organization that wants to get their message out, we facilitate connections to let information find the audience that needs it.
And as you’re getting access to the information you need, you can check out the premium features to help you maximize your productivity with them.
